§ 12.B.2: Reading Mail with Pine

To read your mail, you quit pine and then get back into it:

Note that in the last line we entered a   I 
to view the in folder  Index.


Move the highlight bar until it covers the message you wish to read. Press 
[return].


After reading your message, go ahead and delete it with a
D while in the message:


  
      
	
	  
	   
  

 
A highlighted message appears at the bottom of the screen  and tells 
you     Last message deleted. Now you can quit:

Note that Pine prompts you to make certain you wish to delete your message.  
Go ahead and delete it:
