Rodrigo Triana-Del Rio received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico and then pursued a Master degree in Neuroethology, performing research projects at Universidad Veracruzana, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and Emory University. He earned his Ph.D. in neurosciences in 2019 at Lausanne University with Ron Stoop and performed a research exchange at Roche Pharmaceuticals as part of his Ph.D. training. His thesis work, about the neuromodulation of defensive behaviors by oxytocin in different brain areas, was supported by the Synapsis Foundation (Switzerland). Currently, he completes his postdoctoral training with Joseph LeDoux and Christopher K. Cain at New York University and Nathan Kline Institute, with support from a NIDA grant.
