Jaelin is an undergraduate student at NYU, majoring in psychology and minoring in studio art. She is a Women in Science (WINS) Scholar, a member of Psi Chi, and a Research Ambassador for her university. She received a Dean’s Undergraduate Research Fund Grant in the Spring of 2019 to support her research as she completes her undergraduate thesis under Joseph LeDoux and Chiye Aoki. Her research interests include genetic risk for psychiatric disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, and trauma. In her free time, Jaelin loves to paint, hang out with her cat, Lu, and watch stand-up comedy with her best friends.
