Hello! My name is Umesh Rajashekar. I am a post-doctoral fellow working with Prof. Eero Simoncelli in The Laboratory for Computational Vision (LCV) at New York University. This position is funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. LCV is primarily affiliated with the Center for Neural Science and the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences.

I received my Ph.D. in Dec. 2005 from the Dept. of Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at The University of Texas at Austin. I was part of the Laboratory for Image & Video Engineering (LIVE) and supervised by Prof. Al Bovik and Prof. Larry Cormack.
