CAUTION: Instructions for ITC18 Driver

The folder "Install ITC18 Driver.pkg.sit" is a beta XOP distribution for OSX 10.2.x.  This read me will include a sample of how the XOP files are handled on OSX 10.2 but all other questions about the actual XOP should be directed to: Telly Galiatsatos at

After downloading the "ITC18 MacOSX" XOP folder, place the entire fold in the Igor Pro Folder and unstuff the .sit file. Click on the "Install ITC18 Driver.pkg" and choose the correct folders. You will need to restart your computer after this step since there is a kernel file addition and changes won't take place till you have rebooted.  This "ITC_Driver.kext" file can be found in the System/Library/Extensions after rebooting.

The .kext file is for the computer hardware to communicate with the ITC board.  The file "ITC18_Carbon_V40.XOP" should be moved to the Igor Pro/Carbon Extensions and Support/ Igor Extensions folder.  This .XOP file will let the XOP commands in your Igor program control the ITC board.
