Washington Place is a 3-block street that runs west from Broadway to Washington Square park. It's between (and parallel to) West 4th Street and Waverly Place (which takes the place of 6th). Here's a zoomable online map.

There are a number of subway stops nearby (labelled on map above):

  • The 6 trains stop at Astor Place (8th & Lafayette)
  • The N-R stops at 8th and Broadway
  • The F-S/6 trains stop at Bleecker and Lafayette
  • The A-C-E trains stop at 4th St and 6th Ave
  • The 1-9 trains stop at Christopher street and 7th ave (2 bl west of the park)
