This is a very interesting cell in layer 4B. Notice how the shape
of the orientation distribution inverts when going from 45msec to
65msec. This effect could be explained by a simple feedforward
system with a bi-phasic temporal response. However, if this is
the explanation, why don't cell in layer 4C, which we know receive
a biphasic input from the LGN show the same effect?
