An informal list of classic Vision Science papers
Here is a list (in progress) of 'classic' Vision Science paper, as suggested in an informal survey amongst the students, post-docs, and faculty at the Center for Neural Science and Department of Psychology at NYU [June 2004]. The list is meant to be neither exhaustive, nor representative of a general consensus; just as a pointer to some papers you might want to read (again) at some stage.
Some of these papers will be presented at a series of Vision Journal Club meetings in the Summer/Fall 2004.
This is, clearly, under construction. I will be amending the list, as more people suggest papers and people volunteer to present.
